HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WLOX) - A crash that slowed traffic down Thursday morning at the Shriner’s Boulevard exit off I-10 has now been cleared.

Officials say the wreck involved an 18-wheeler and a car and happened at some point just after 3 a.m. No injuries were reported.

The 18-wheeler was carrying a corrosive liquid that spilled in the area. Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) responded to the scene and contained, cleaned and properly disposed of the liquid.

The area is clear as of 9:45 a.m.
