Hancock EMA responds to storm damages

Emergency Management crews in Hancock County are busy trying to restore power and clear roadways of debris.

Crews at Hancock Emergency Operations are working hard to asses the damage of what’s exactly been going on after reports of several tornadoes in the area.

Hancock County EMA Director Brian Adam tells us more. “Crews out there, fire crews, law enforcement, power companies, they all are out there right now assessing everything, finishing assessing. And then we come back here to kind of map out where we are at with the damage and what areas we have to look at again. Try to stay off the roads as a lot of trees down, power lines down. You know, stay in as long as you can and let everything get cleared up.”
