Changes to be made for the Sarasota solid waste collection services

SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - Sarasota County residents have a chance to learn more about the solid waste collection services at one of the many workshops taking place tonight.

The workshop will be held at the William Jervey Junior Venice library off of Nokomis Avenue east from 6 to 7 tonight.

They will be meeting two more times this week if you can’t make it to the one tonight. They will be held on Tuesday and Thursday in Sarasota, from 6pm until 7pm.

Below is a list of when and where the meetings will happen:

Public meetings will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the following dates:

Monday, April 15: William H. Jervey Jr. Venice Library, 300 Nokomis Ave. S., Venice.
Tuesday, April 16: Gulf Gate Library, 7112 Curtis Ave., Sarasota.
Wednesday, April 17: Englewood Sports Complex, 1300 S. River Road, Englewood.
Thursday, April 18: Betty J. Johnson North Sarasota Library, 2801 Newtown Blvd., Sarasota.
